Sarah and her family own a majestic mountain estate covering hundreds of acres and sitting right along the bank of the river in the mountains of Virginia. She wanted a photo session that reflect she and Sean's personalities which greatly included just hanging out around their home. Upon arrival, I can see why. The place is stupendous.
After a quick "walkabout" and boring warm up photos, the couples brief awkwardness in front of the camera dissolved and we got down to taking some real
photographs. I would re remiss in stating that we also had a glass of Sara's moonshine - apricot moonshine that is!
Sarah and Sean started the day by adventuring down a trail, reminiscing about old memories on how they met. One thing Sean has a great affinity for is keeping Sarah in his arms. It wasn't long after they started down the trail that Sean had Sarah up and Deevo was able to snap this shot.
During photo shoots Fusion likes to take advantage of all the natural elements that are available. Including sometimes trespassing on the neighbor's property
where a really quaint old tree swing sat swaying in the breeze - just waiting for us to utilize. Deevo has the policy of asking forgiveness after the
fact and while it makes some of us uneasy (ahem Mandy), we have to agree, almost always it ends up being perfectly fine - I mean who is going to get
upset at two lovies kissing and adoring each other while a camera man takes their photos?
One thing you can always expect in a photo-shoot with Deevo is the unexpected. Like standing in the middle of the river in the middle of the spring
after all the mountain snow has melted and the water is 50 degrees and moving fast ... "Oh and would you mind picking Sarah up and kissing her?" Sean
was a bit hesitant at first, but finally agreed - hard to say no to Deevo and Sarah pleading. Afterward he agreed, the shot we got was well worth
losing two toes to frostbite.
