Turks and Caicos Destination Wedding | Amanda and Willie | Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos

Amanda and Willie did their wedding right, if you ask us. They adore traveling, and also didn't want all the hubbub and stress that a typical wedding provides. So they packed up and took a very select few close friends and flew to Turks and Caicos to have what turned out to be an intimate Caribbean destination wedding. We went along to document the entire affair, and now they have these beautiful photos to preserve their amazing memories forever.

The resort was The Windsong in Grace Bay - one of the top 25 Caribbean Resorts in the world, and we can see why. Amanda and Willie spent something like two weeks total in their penthouse suite - I am still not sure why they came back exactly? Here Amanda is taking a sneak peek out her window down onto the beach where her husband-to-be was waiting.

I know we were in the Caribbean, but neither Amanda nor Willie were one bit nervous or stressed the entire day, and we think it was in great part thanks to their event planners!

We adore Willie's smile any time, but especially here as he sees his beautiful bride walking down the aisle(can there be an aisle at a beachfront wedding? We'll go with that). It was quite a long walk across the glass-enclosed bridge at the Windsong, down past the catamarans and onto the white sandy beach where her man was waiting.

Thankfully, even the waves are usually quiet in Grace Bay, so no one had any problem hearing their vows. They were just SO happy to say "I do" as you can see. Didn't we tell you at Amanda and Willie's engagement session how much they loved each other? It was plain to see on this day as well.

We absolutely love thoughtful wedding details such as this, it's a large part of what makes each wedding unique and inspiring to photograph.

After the ceremony, we did our usual bride and groom photography session, but just slightly enhanced by how stunning the setting was! Turks and Caicos is so breathtaking. It still feels virtually untouched and non-touristy, which made it easy to get stunning photos without having to finagle around other guests of the resort. READ: This is something VERY important when you are choosing a location for your destination wedding. Smaller, more intimate boutique-y resorts are best. And help from an amazing event planner like Lorraine doesn't hurt either! Oh, and the rainbow sunsets? Yeah, those colors are not enhanced by us in these images. That is what the reality of nature is on this island.

We simply took a walk down the beach at Grace Bay and captured them here and there. We love how these turned out, and again no, that blue water is NOT photo-enhanced!

All the best to both of you as you experience many, many more together!

The client is most important to Fusion and they truly try to create whatever your vision is. After the wedding I was getting a little tired and a bit aggravated. Deevo broke out a Snickers bar and a bottle of cold water. Great people, great customer service, great memories for me and my husband! Totally Recommended!
