The Moments Leading to I DO: Photographing Wedding Preparation

We at Fusion are very aware that the festivities start well before the ceremony on your wedding day. That is why you will find us arriving hours before you begin that walk down the aisle to ensure we catch all the action. You can typically expect to find Deevo with the bride and her bridesmaids and our second shooter, Jessica, with the groom and his men. It is an divide and conquer philosophy during wedding prep so we don't miss out on documenting this special and once in a lifetime moment.

We like to be there from start to finish, capturing every detail we can.  This typically begins with hair and makeup.  These moments are great opportunities to grab candid images of the bride and her bridal party as they prepare for the big day. Images like these of Sara and Alyssa typically become some of our brides favorite photos because it brings them back to that fleeting moment as they prepared to say "I Do."

You will ALWAYS find that we document the bride stepping into her dress.  We love capturing this breathtaking and intimate moment in wedding preparation.  For most brides, and especially the mother of the bride, putting on the wedding gown is a pivotal and emotional experience that you will love having transformed into art.

Another crucial part of our time is spent documenting the finer details.  This is why our presence prior to the ceremony is so critical; without this extra time we would miss the opportunity to capture all the specific choices our brides and grooms have made.  Jewelry, wedding gowns, heels and more will all be documented to highlight the significance of each piece.  And as with Wydea's case above, we also take this chance to photograph each and every personal touch you have added to your big day.

And of course we are there to document the fun.  We are in the business of storytelling, so we make sure our images reflect your personality and are genuine to your day.  We are there to capture the intimate and celebratory moments that transpire between you and your wedding party, and your friends and family.

They worked with me and my husband (who isn't as social as I am) to make us feel comfortable with our photo sessions, and were very organized on our wedding day. Each picture is breathtaking! I just wish all the photos weren't so great...it's hard to choose which ones I want to put in an album!!!
