The newlyweds stand at the edge of the quarry at the beautiful and one of a kind wedding venue, Carrigan Farms.
If you missed Starling and Aaron's Uptown engagement shoot featured on our blog all I can say is you missed out. Now, go take a look - its definitely a precursor to this wedding blog. If you are one of the lucky ones that did view their engagement photos you know this couple is a hoot and we could only expect a unique and fun filled wedding day. And they delivered! The event was beautiful down to each minute detail, including the doggie tuxedo. Starling was a gorgeous bride and Aaron, well he was Aaron (don't worry, that's a compliment...you'll see).
I personally love the images of a bride and groom leading up their wedding ceremony. We always suggest taking bridal party images following getting ready and pre-ceremony to allow the bride and groom to enjoy as much of the wedding reception as possible. One of my favorite take always from photography prior the wedding ceremony is that you can truly feel the excitement jumping out of every image. This day was no different.

As you likely guessed, Jessica captured great candids of the guys. Wedding images can come off as pretty hoity-toity, something we at Fusion run screaming from, but that isn't even a glimmer of a possibility with a couple like this. The two are a fun and easy going duo, who limit the seriousness and we say bring it on!
This trio of photos is simply hilarious and what we saw from Aaron regularly. You can see the thought process written across his face: Eye cut..."Wait, Jessica is taking pics of us. This shot is way too boring, I'll give her something to work with. I know! I'm a tiger! NO - even better - I'm 007! Starling is so lucky to have me."
Flowers by Lingky was the flower guru at Starling and Aaron's outdoor wedding and she produced amazing designs as always.
Aaron and his groomsman sit at the wedding ceremony site at Carrigan Farms as they wait for the wedding to begin.
The two held this mega event at one of our favorite outdoor wedding venues in the Charlotte area, Carrigan Farms. You will find us at this Mooresville NC location for weddings, portrait shoots,
engagement sessions, you name it. It is such a beautiful and versatile setting for these types of events and easily accommodated their motherload of
a guest list - 250 people! That's right - these vendors has their work cut out for them and everything went off without a single hitch! Thanks
to all involved and very cooperative weather the day was a dream for this couple.
250 wedding quests sit with an amazing view of the quarry at Carrigan Farms as they wait for the ceremony to begin.
We promised you a unique wedding. Starlings father provided a collection of vintage cars to ensure the wedding quests were shuttled to the ceremony site in pure style.
And the happy couple included their dog in a well tailored suit to match the wedding party. He acted as the honorary ring bearer of sorts.
The reception lived up to the raw beauty of Carrigan Farms.
Like I said above - the vendors NAILED IT! You really saw this couple's story and style come to life with every detail. Aaron and Starling
first met on a social bike ride. We so loved the cake topper that shared that intimate detail with each of their guests. And of
course their newspaper inspired wedding programs were another favorite of ours. It not only detailed their wedding party, but also told the story
of how their relationship came to be. These two have a great eye for detail.
These reception center pieces were brought to you courtesy of Flowers by Lingky and this simply elegant wedding cake was perfectly designed by Ella's Celestial Cakes.
Aaron and Starling perform their well rehearsed first dance for their wedding guests at their Mooresville North Carolina wedding reception.
We are so incredibly grateful to be a part of this incredible couples amazing wedding day. We truly enjoyed the day with both of them and feel so privileged to have witnessed them becoming husband and wife. Here is to many happy years, Starling and Aaron!
