Easter is right around the corner, which means this is the perfect time for spring family portraits. But how can you ensure your photos get the Easter Bunny’s (and your own) stamp of approval? Follow these tips.
Don’t Go Overboard with the Pastels
Keep the colors you wear spring-oriented, but don't go crazy or you'll look like our beloved Easter Bunny vomited all over you and your loved ones. Each
family member should only wear one piece that screams "SPRING!" And maybe an accessory or two. But stay away from outfits consisting of salmon polo
shirts and light-blue pants. Fresh, spring hues are amazing, but you know the old adage: too much of a good thing is not a good thing.
Screw Going to the Mall—Shoot with a Live Bunny
Every year, the Easter Bunny makes an appearance at the mall, and you bring your kids to sit with him for a (typically) awkward photo. Instead of doing
the same old, same old, set up a family portrait session with a photographer who offers sessions with live bunnies. Not only will the kids love petting
those cute little rascals, but your Easter pics will be far above the rest.
Take Advantage of the Killer Weather
Spring is here, and it’s about damn time. The sun is shining, the grass is green, and the flowers are blooming. All of this creates an incredible background
for your family portraits. Instead of sitting inside a stuffy studio, step out into the fresh air and roll around on the grass. Your photographs will
be vibrant and full of life.
These are just a few pointers to make your springtime family portraits memorable, unique, and Easter Bunny-approved.
