Janelle and Paul first came to Fusion for their consult with Janelle's entire family troupe in tow. I mean literally, mom, dad, Paul and herself. I rarely
get the privilege of meeting the brides mom AND dad on the initial consult, so knew I really had to be bring my A-Game! It
turns out the catalyst that sold Janelle [and her dad] on Fusion was our "Day-Of Wedding Planning" spreadsheet and of course "the amazing photography".
When Janelle told me this at their e-session viewing I was stoked because this planning is an integral part of a successful wedding and the fact that
Janelle, Paul and her parents recognized this was just freakin awesome!
For their session, we photographed at Daniel Stowe Gardens, which incidentally is starting to become one of my top ten places to shoot in Charlotte. Now before I share the images with you, let me tell you a little bit about how well prepared Janelle and Paul were for this shoot. Easily the most organized B&G I've ever worked with. First of all, they brought with them about 152 varying props of all sizes, shapes and colors. Second, Paul, had a checklist of another 152 different shots that he wanted to do (incidentally, we only did about five of them). But what was so cool about all this, is they clearly valued their photography and BOTH participated in making it as memorable as possible for each other - which says a lot about them as a couple. I value that in a client. I can't wait to see how they raise the bar for their wedding. Whomever is attending this one is in for a treat I can bet.
Paul loves to smile, Janelle is usually on the other end of that
Star crossed lovers on the bridge at Daniel Stowe
The coolest adirondack chairs of all time - made of slabs of wood
Janelle left Paul a little love note - ahh the little things about love
Relaxing at the end of the shoot and just enjoying each other's company by the fountain.
