Columbia Metropolitan COnvention Center Wedding | Brittany + Michael | Columbia, SC

Brittany and Michael were married at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in late summer. Sweethearts since college and a long stint living in separate countries, this celebration was long-awaited and therefore not an affair to be missed. Every detail was so well thought out by the couple from beginning til end, as is represented in the photos we took on their wedding day.

The Columbia Metro is a beautiful, modern space that is like a blank canvas for any event planned there. Brittany and Michael chose a wedding day palette of guava and grey, with small touches of teal.

Here are some more details from the day: a basketball/globe-themed groom's cake by Two Sisters and a Cake, signifying the couple's passion for travel (namely where Michael proposed - in Italy) and the fact that he is a pro basketball player. For table assignments, each guest received their very own passport, displayed amidst vintage travel memorabilia. Such a creative touch!

For a guest book, Brittany and Michael had each guest choose an old photo postcard to write well-wishes for the couple and then place them in one of the vintage suitcases.

In addition to the details being so unique, the reception was one of the most fun ever...so much dancing! This fully choreographed father-daughter dance shot is an absolute Fusion classic at this point.

Brittany and Michael tore up the dance floor in their own right as well!

Here are some more of our favorite images from this beautiful celebration:

The client is most important to Fusion and they truly try to create whatever your vision is. After the wedding I was getting a little tired and a bit aggravated. Deevo broke out a Snickers bar and a bottle of cold water. Great people, great customer service, great memories for me and my husband! Totally Recommended!
