Chris + Greg | A Walk in the Park E-Session | Charlotte, NC

Chris and Greg have the coolest story. No really, the COOLEST story! They met about 20 years ago and dated for a bit, but the timing wasn't quite right and they wound up parting ways. Fast forward ten years later, and the fate gods had smiled down upon them and both Chris and Greg accepted new jobs at the same bank. They have been together ever since, and will be getting married TWICE...once in California and then this fall here in NC (yaaaaayyyyy equal rights! Don't get me started on how my home state is a little slow in the love-one-another department. But I digress).

When it came time to propose, it happened in the most synchronistic way possible...it just gives me shivers. They had planned a trip to Paris and stopped to see the Pont des Arts. They both AT THE SAME TIME got down on one knee on the bridge and proposed with a ring! You can't make this stuff up, folks. I made them tell me the story like, fourteen times just to be sure I heard it correctly!

We shot their engagement session at a cool little park in Charlotte, and the two gentlemen said that doing this photo shoot really helped them to reconnect. Chris and Greg travel constantly, and are always taking this selfie or that posed photo in front of a monument or landmark, but doing our shoot helped them to really slow down and celebrate who they are as a couple. I think it was Greg who said, "Chris has never kissed me this much in one day!" We think it really comes across how much they do adore each other in these photos.

Chris and Greg were such troopers, too. Deevo had them sit still for what seemed like EVER to slow down the shutter speed and capture the waterfall effect in this photo. Then we screeched to a halt when driving at the last minute and made them race through the brush and up a giant hill to capture this stunner:

Here are more of the amazing images we created with Chris and Greg. Love truly shows up on film, without a doubt.

Chris and Greg, you have been just so wonderful to work with. Congratulations on beginning the next phase of your life together and thank you for including us! We absolutely cannot wait to photograph your wedding in October!

The client is most important to Fusion and they truly try to create whatever your vision is. After the wedding I was getting a little tired and a bit aggravated. Deevo broke out a Snickers bar and a bottle of cold water. Great people, great customer service, great memories for me and my husband! Totally Recommended!
